William Reed Conferences announce their 2nd annual International Wine Conference. Essential for wine producers, shippers, suppliers, wholesalers and buyers who have a particular interest in the structure of the UK market.
The International Wine Conference will be held in The Dorchester, London on the 6 September 2006. Now in it’s second year it is run in conjunction with the International Wine Challenge, which was established in 1984 and is now the world’s largest most influential and comprehensive blind tasting, judged by over 400 professionals.
This years International Wine Conference will look at the structure of the UK wine market and will cover issues facing consumer trends and buying habits, pricing and promotions, independents resurgence and over-supply forecasts and opportunities within this sector.
During the planning stages William Reed Conferences enlisted the help of 5 senior wine industry experts who have supported and helped in the research and promotion of this conference. This advisory panel consisted of Jeremy Beadles from The Wine and Spirit Trade Association, Michael Cox from Wines of Chile UK Ltd, Emma Nichols from Oddbins Ltd, John McLaren from Wine Institute of California, Gary Proctor from Edward Cavendish, Tim Atkin MW and Graham Holter who is the Group Editor of Off Licence News, Wine & Spirit and Drinks International.
Promising to be bigger and better than last years conference it will bring together the knowledge and experience of experts in the wine trade, providing a great opportunity to network with other industry players from around the world and improve your business strategies.
